Being quick to grasp the commercial issues facing businesses – regardless of sector or context – and with a personable approach, Adrian is equally comfortable working with board-level executives as with those ‘at the rock-face’ to find a solution.
With over 12 years of experience from roles in Commerce, Public Infrastructure Investment, Public/Private Partnerships and Management Consultancy, Adrian has a proven track record of competence, professionalism and delivery.
In these roles he has led financial model development across pricing, long range forecasting and scenario planning to support multi-million pound investment decisions. He has constructed a variety of business information tools to facilitate management, be it improve profitability, streamline processes, increase staff efficacy, assess and track performance or optimise strategies.
After graduating with a 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Physics from the University of Bath, Adrian attained a Postgraduate Certificate from the University of Cambridge. He then worked for a management consultancy (DiamondCluster International, now part of PwC) before a 3-year period working as a freelance financial modeller (almost exclusively for another management consultancy). This was followed by a permanent position as a Senior Investment Strategy Analyst for LandSecurities Trillium, then a career sabbatical before returning to working freelance and incorporating Kensa Consulting Ltd.
Adrian incorporated Kensa Consulting Ltd to offer his skills on an independent basis but without the overheads incurred by larger, specialist financial modelling consultancies. He continues to work with existing clients and welcomes new clients, whether they come directly or via recruitment consultants and interim agencies.
Adrian enjoys tackling new challenges, exploiting a keen eye for detail and a propensity for problem solving.
